Beispiel

In diesem Szenario verfügt der Nutzer über eine PowerFlex 16G-Appliance und verwendet sein eigenes Red Hat Enterprise Linux-Image für die MVM-Nodes (PFMP).

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.10

Die PFMP-Installation schlägt in der zweiten Stufe bei 74 % fehl.

Der folgende Fehler wird in der bedrock.log angezeigt:

fatal: [host1]: FAILED! => changed=false
 assertion: ansible_failed_task is ot defined and ansible_failed_result is not defined

Auswirkungen 

PFMP kann nicht bereitgestellt werden.

Cause

CMO benötigt UMASK 022 für die ordnungsgemäße Einrichtung der Helm-Charts. UMASK 027 bietet Root mit rwx-Berechtigungen, die Gruppe mit r-x-Berechtigungen und keine Berechtigungen für andere.

Resolution

Fehlerbehebung:

Ändern Sie die UMASK-Werte auf allen drei MVM-Nodes (PFMP).

So ändern Sie UMASK in 0022:

  1. Aktualisieren des UMASK-Werts 
vi /etc/login.defs
   Update the line UMASK 027 ---> UMASK 022
   save it.
  1. Laden Sie die Konfiguration:
source /etc/profile
  1. Verlassen Sie die Shell und melden Sie sich erneut an.

Die neueste Konfiguration wird aktualisiert. #Testen: Wenn Sie eine neue Datei erstellen, wird sie mit 644 Berechtigungen erstellt.

Nachdem die Werte geändert wurden:

  • Zurücksetzen des PFMP-Installationsprogramms
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/reset_installer.sh
  • Einrichten des PFMP-Installationsprogramms
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/setup_installer.sh
  • Einleiten der PFMP-Installation
/opt/dell/pfmp/PFMP_Installer/scripts/install_PFMP.sh


In den Versionshinweisen zu Dell PowerFlex 4.6.x heißt es Folgendes (S. 18):

Symptom: The PowerFlex management platform installation process requires that the umask be set to the Linux default (022). If you have changed the default umask setting, the helm images do not have the correct permissions when it comes time to pull the images.
 
Recommended action: Change umask to 022.
