Instructions

VxRail event codes are constructed in the format of VXRxxyzzz or MYSTICxxyzzz.

Segment Description
VXR or MYSTIC Event code prefix
xx Component code, hexadecimal number, tells where the event generates from. 
y Severity level, hexadecimal number
zzz Sub event code within the component, hexadecimal number

 

Segment xx

Code Component Comment
00 Cluster Usually generates from vCenter.
01 VMware Generates from vCenter or ESXi host.
02  Appliance VxRail general hardware health status
03 Connectivity Related to connectivity or call home service
10 VxRail Manager Generates from VxRail Manager, may have sub component code (1x)
20 VxRail value addon functions Generates from proactive health check, may have sub component code (2x)
50 iDRAC Generates from iDRAC.

For iDRAC event code:
The original iDRAC event code does not have the prefix VXR500. 

For example VxRail event code "VXR500BAT0019," the corresponding iDRAC event code is "BAT0019."
