Příznaky

Fehler, die beim Erstellen eines herkömmlichen Speicherpools mit zwei verschiedenen Laufwerkstypen aus der Dell EMC Unity-GUI mit OE-Code 5.2 gemeldet wurden, werden unten angezeigt:
"Die falsche Anzahl von Laufwerken wurde für die angegebene RAID-Konfiguration bereitgestellt oder die Anzahl der Laufwerke stimmte nicht mit der Standard-RAID-Konfiguration für die Laufwerke in der Laufwerksgruppe überein. Error: Code (0x6700171)"


Beim Versuch, den Pool mit verschiedenen Festplattentypen zu erstellen, wird der folgende Fehler erwartet:

uemcli -d  -u Local/admin -p  /stor/config/pool create -name  -diskGroup dg_26 -drivesNumber 45 -storProfile tprofile_2 -type traditional

uemcli -d  -u admin -securepassword /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show -storProfile tprofile_1, tprofile_19 -type traditional

Please input your selection (The default selection is [1]): Operation failed. Error code: 0x1000401
The object was not found with "Pool0". (Error Code:0x1000401)

 

Příčina

Die herkömmliche Poolerstellung über die GUI ist mit dem Dell EMC Unity OE-Code 5.2.0 nicht erreichbar. Dies kann nur über die CLI-Methode mithilfe von uemcli konfiguriert werden.
 

Řešení

Als ersten Schritt sollte ein herkömmlicher Speicherpool mit nur einem Flash-Laufwerk oder einem höchsten verfügbaren Tier (Laufwerkstyp) konfiguriert werden. Sobald der Pool erfolgreich erstellt wurde, kann er von Unisphere mit SAS- oder NL-SAS-Festplatten erweitert werden.

Schritte zum Konfigurieren eines herkömmlichen Speicherpools über die CLI:

  1. uemcli /stor/config/dg show >>Shows the Disk Groups available in the system 
  2. uemcli /stor/config/profile -traditional -configurable show >> Zeigt die im System verfügbaren Profile an
  3. uemcli -d -u Local/admin -p /stor/config/pool create -name -diskGroup -drivesNumber < drive_number > -storProfile tprofile_x -type traditional
