NOTA: La procedura descritta in questo articolo non è applicabile agli switch che eseguono OS10.


Procedura:

È possibile utilizzare lo storage USB per copiare i file all'interno e all'esterno dello switch. A volte, dopo la formattazione di un dispositivo di storage USB in Windows in FAT32, potrebbe non essere rilevato nello switch Force10 con una versione del firmware OS9. Come soluzione alternativa, è possibile formattare l'USB nello switch Dell Force10 con OS9. 

  1. Inserire l'unità USB (unità penna) nella porta USB.
  2. Eseguire il comando: 
format usbflash


ATTENZIONE: La formattazione di un dispositivo di file rimuove tutti i file e le directory presenti. Pertanto, accertarsi di eseguire il backup di tutti i file nello storage USB in un'altra posizione prima di procedere.


Esempi di output

FTOS#format usbflash:
Formatting a file device removes all files and directories on it.
Proceed to format the file device [confirm yes/no]: yes
Do not remove usbflash, device is being formatted!!

NOTA: L'unità USB è formattata in FAT32. Un'unità USB protetta o crittografata con una partizione speciale potrebbe non funzionare nello switch.
