Error de PowerPath.

Durante una NDU de VPLEX, un director de VPLEX se bloqueaba unos segundos después de su regreso.  Esto expuso un error en PowerPath relacionado con la apertura de dispositivos, lo que hace que PowerPath emita una versión adicional.  Esta versión adicional da como resultado una condición de uso después de liberación y un estado de alarma del kernel de Linux.

PowerPath 6.1 HF1 y las versiones futuras de PowerPath tienen una corrección para este error.

Tanto Red Hat como los ingenieros de PowerPath fueron capaces de recrear la condición en el laboratorio independientemente de una NDU de VPLEX.  Además del rastro retrospectivo del cliente, se observaron varios seguimientos retrospectivos de pánico diferentes.
Debido a la naturaleza del uso después de la liberación, el pánico real se puede ver en varios lugares.
