Symptoms

Si verificano uno o più dei seguenti sintomi:

  • Più client WC e NC Avamar non riescono a connettersi al sistema Data Domain.
  • I processi di backup hanno esito negativo all'avvio o vengono terminati durante il backup.
  • Gli errori si verificano costantemente sui client interessati che utilizzano Data Domain Boost.

Cause

Questo problema deriva da un problema di compatibilità con la libreria DD Boost versione 7.2.0.5 Build 654364 integrata nei client WC e NC Avamar 19.3.100-149. Il problema si verifica quando questi client si connettono a sistemi Data Domain che eseguono DD OS 7.2.0.40-664052 o versione successiva.

Resolution

Aggiornare tutti i client Avamar WC e NC interessati alla versione 19.4 o successiva di Avamar.

Completare la seguente procedura:

  1. Scaricare il software client Avamar 19.4 per il sistema operativo appropriato.
  2. Aggiornare Avamar Client su tutti i sistemi interessati.
  3. Verificare la corretta registrazione del client e la connettività al sistema Data Domain.
  4. Eseguire backup di prova per confermare il normale funzionamento.

Non sono disponibili modifiche alla configurazione o soluzioni alternative per i client Avamar 19.3.100-149 con le versioni di DD OS interessate.

  • I client Avamar 19.3.100-149 non sono compatibili con Data Domain OS 7.2.0.40-664052 o versione successiva quando si utilizza la libreria DD Boost integrata.
