Instructions
If you have resync throttling set prior to upgrading to a version in which it has been removed, the setting is still configured. There is no option in the UI anymore.
This setting takes an integer between 0-512. Setting DomCompResyncThrottle to 0 disables resync throttling.
1. Disable the bandwidth limits by running the following command in the ESXi Shell:
$ esxcfg-advcfg -s 0 /VSAN/DomCompResyncThrottle Value of DomCompResyncThrottle is 0
2. Verify your change by running the following command:
$ esxcfg-advcfg -g /VSAN/DomCompResyncThrottle
Value of DomCompResyncThrottle is 0
3. How to get information about vSAN resync bandwidth in Mbps for the disk group with the heaviest resync workload:
$ esxcli vsan resync bandwidth get Rate: 7 Mbps
