Symptoms



De klant krijgt de onderstaande fout in zijn VPLEX Collecting-logboeken, ook al worden alle data in rapporten ingevuld.

De fouten hebben alleen betrekking op DISTRIBUTED-DEVICES & WITNESSES-CLUSTER.

com.watch4net.apg.concurrent.JobExecutionException: Onverwachte fout bij het uitvoeren van een stap in de taak VPlexData -> WITNESSES-CLUSTER1

Cause

De omgeving waar dit probleem werd waargenomen, had de klant Local VPLEX.

" Gedistribueerde apparaten zijn volumes die worden gedistribueerd over 2 VPLEX-clusters, dus deze zijn bedoeld voor metro- of geo-instellingen. Aangezien de klant lokale VPLEX gebruikt, heeft deze dit type volumes niet en worden ze dus niet gevonden.

Cluster Witness is ook een optionele component en wordt meestal gebruikt in metro- of geo-instellingen. Dus als de klant het niet heeft, wordt Niet gevonden verwacht.


Resolution

Volg de onderstaande stappen om de fouten uit de logboeken te verwijderen.

Ga naar opt\APG\Collecting\Stream-Collector\emc-vplex\conf location.
 
Reageer data-distdevs-clstr1.xml en data-witness-cluster1.xml in bestand "data-vplex-cluster1.xml" zoals hieronder:
