Symptoms

PowerProtect: Data Manager NTP-configuratie wordt niet bijgewerkt Beschermingsengines en proxy's

Cause

NTP-server die buiten gebruik moet worden gesteld, PowerProtect Data Manager server handmatig bijgewerkt voor NTP-configuratie die de Protection Engines en Proxy's-hosts voor NTP-serverconfiguratie niet heeft bijgewerkt.

Resolution

PowerProtect Data Manager Admin om handmatig als admin in te loggen op elke proxyhost, deze vervolgens over te schakelen naar root en vervolgens de /etc/ntp.conf & /usr/local/brs/puppet/modules/ecdm/files/ntpd/ntp.conf handmatig bij te werken.

Start PowerProtect Data Manager > opnieuw op zodat de variabele opnieuw wordt geladen.

Note: 
It's not recommended to manually change any hostname or IP address after the OVA is deployed. It becomes cumbersome if you are dealing with secure hidden password protected components such as Protection Engines etc
