Symptoms
After replacing the iDRAC Daughter Card (IDC), the slot numbering may appear incorrect.
In BIOS version 1.0.2:




Cause
BIOS version 1.0.2 does not support the U.2 chassis configuration. The U.2 chassis switch firmware was not ready when the BIOS was released, causing missing Fully Qualified Device Descriptor (FQDD) mapping.
Resolution
Dell Engineering is aware of this issue, and it does not affect the operating system.
This issue is resolved in BIOS version 1.2.0, which adds support for U.2 chassis configuration and ensures proper FQDD mapping.
