當 xbar 出現錯誤，且模組故障，通常會執行機械更換。

若要故障診斷 xbar 問題，隔離問題 （前提是客戶允許） xbar、監管程式、任何線路卡和機箱。

執行隔離工作以處理 xbar 失敗。此程序需要執行下列步驟以進行隔離： 

  1. 取代 xbar。
    如果更換失敗，則問題不在 xbar。
  2. 隨著更換 xbar 仍插入狀態，執行 系統切換 （等待維護時段） 以交換使用中和待機監管程式，並檢查 XBAR 狀態。由於這些模組可熱交換，因此您可以嘗試重新插入舊的 xbar 如果更換仍然失敗。

注意：請務必保留至少一個 xbar 在 MDS 9500 中至少有兩個，在 MDS 9700 交換器中至少有兩個，否則系統會故障。請勿全部移除 xbars。
