이 비디오는 기존 Database App Agent 설치 가이드를 보강하는 훌륭한 도구이지만 이를 대체하기 위한 것은 아닙니다.
  1. Data Domain 시스템에 로그인하고 다음 명령을 실행하여 DD Boost가 시스템에서 활성화되어 있는지 확인합니다.
 ddboost 상태
  1. 이전에 생성된 스토리지 유닛이 읽기/쓰기 상태인지 확인합니다.
ddboost storage-unit show
  1. 이전에 다운로드한 App Agent 소프트웨어의 압축을 풉니다. 
Gunzip dbappagent30_linux_x86_64.tar.gz
  1. tar ball에서 소프트웨어를 추출합니다. 
tar -xvf dbappagent30_linux_x86_64.tar
  1. 기본 OS 설치 프로그램 rpm을 사용하여 압축을 푼 소프트웨어를 설치합니다.
rpm -ivh emcdbappagent-3.0.0-1.x86_64.rpm
  1. 다음 명령을 사용하여 App Agent Lockbox 생성
/opt/ddbda/bin/ddbmadmin -L
  1. 선호하는 텍스트 편집기를 사용하여 /opt/ddbda/config/oracle_ddbda.cfg 파일을 수정하고 필수 필드를 업데이트합니다. 즉

DDBOOST_USER
DEVICE_HOSTDEVICE_PATH
  1. Lockbox에 Data Domain 정보를 등록합니다.
/opt/ddbda/bin/ddbmadmin -P -z /opt/ddbda/config/oracle_ddbda.cfg
 
이제 ddboost를 통해 데이터베이스 백업을 Data Domain 시스템으로 보내는 RMAN 스크립트를 작성할 수 있습니다.
