VPLEX Metro
XtremIO backend
Issue:
Error while creating a block volume to a VPLEX Metro with an XtremIO backend array
Catalogue services create block volume failed with error:
"Error when refreshing export masks for the system, details: Illegal character in query at index xx .
Cause
Issue is caused by a space in the cluster name of the XtremIO.
For example:
DC4 XtremIO-X2
Resolution
Changing the array name to remove all blank spaces and rediscovering in the ViPR Controller resolves the issue.
Consult with XIO SME before changing the name of the cluster.
