Windows VM slår seg av og til.
Den Vmware.log filen, som ligger i vmfs/volumer på verten VM-en kjører på, viser at gjesteoperativsystemet startet avstengingen.

Cause
Informasjonen i wlms tjenesten starter en avstengning med jevne mellomrom på grunn av at Windows ikke er aktivert.
Når du ser på Windows Event Viewer på VM, viser det følgende feil:
Event ID 1074: The process C:\Windows\system32\wlms\wlms.exe (VM_NAME) has initiated the shutdown of computer VM_NAME on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: Other (Planned) Reason Code: 0x80000000 Shutdown Type: shutdown Comment: The license period for this installation of Windows has expired. The operating system is shutting down.
Resolution
Dette problemet løses ved å aktivere Windows-VM-en med en gyldig produktnøkkel.
