Symptoms

Problema: Scheda VSAN mancante nel client HTML5 dopo l'aggiornamento alla versione 4.7.x (VCSA 6.7)

 

Cause

Directory "com.vmware.vsphere.client.h5vsan-6.7.0.20000" potrebbe mancare nel vsphere-client-serenity .

 

Resolution

Per risolvere questo problema, seguire la soluzione alternativa riportata di seguito:

  1. Accedere tramite SSH al vCenter interessato
  2. Passare alla directory: /etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/vc-packages/vsphere-client-serenity
  3. Verificare che la directory "com.vmware.vsphere.client.h5vsan-6.7.0.20000" manca.
  4. Creare una nuova directory denominata "com.vmware.vsphere.client.h5vsan-6.7.0.20000".
  5. Accedere tramite SSH al vCenter funzionante
  6. Verificare che la directory "/etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/vc-packages/vsphere-client-serenity/com.vmware.vsphere.client.h5vsan-6.7.0.20000" è presente sull'apparecchio.
  7. Utilizzare WinSCP per connettersi al vCenter funzionante e copiare il contenuto di "com.vmware.vsphere.client.h5vsan-6.7.0.20000" al computer locale.
  8. Copiare i file dal computer locale nella directory appena creata nel vCenter interessato.
  9. Eseguire il seguente comando sul vCenter interessato per modificare la proprietà di tutti i file e le sottodirectory in "vsphere-ui users" - trova /etc/vmware/vsphere-ui/vc-packages/vsphere-client-serenity/com.vmware.vsphere.client.h5vsan-6.7.0.20000 
    xargs chown vsphere-ui:users
  10. Se VCHA è abilitato, impostare questa modalità di manutenzione per evitare un failover.
  11. Riavviare la macchina virtuale vCenter interessata e attendere il caricamento dei plug-in.
  12. Verificare che la scheda Plug-in VSAN sia presente in vSphere Client.
