Dell Networking OS9: Logboekregistratie op een switch instellen en beheren

Overzicht

Het Dell Networking besturingssysteem houdt wijzigingen in het systeem bij met behulp van gebeurtenis- en foutmeldingen.
Standaard registreert Dell Networking OS deze berichten op:

  • De interne buffer
  • Console- en terminallijnen
  • Alle geconfigureerde syslog-servers


Logging inschakelen

Registreer berichten in de interne buffer:
 
Alle foutmeldingen, behalve die welke beginnen met %BOOTUP (Message), worden gelogd in de interne buffer.
Bijvoorbeeld: 
%BOOTUP:RPM0:CP %PORTPIPE-INIT-SUCCESS: Portpipe 0 enabled

Om systeemberichten naar een opgegeven syslog-server te sturen, gebruikt u de volgende opdracht.
 
Opdracht Parameters
console# configure De configuratiemodus activeren.
console(conf)# logging 192.168.1.1
 		 Stel het IP-adres of de hostnaam van de externe syslog-server in om logboekuitvoer te verzenden, inclusief optionele bronpoortaanduiding.

U kunt maximaal acht syslog-servers configureren.
 

Logging uitschakelen

Opdracht Parameters
console# configure De configuratiemodus activeren.
console(conf)# no logging on Alle logging inschakelen behalve naar de console.
console(conf)# no logging buffer Logging naar de loggingbuffer uitschakelen.
console(conf)# no logging monitor Logging naar terminallijnen uitschakelen.
console(conf)# no logging console  Console-logging uitschakelen.
 

Logging-instellingen wijzigen

U kunt de standaardinstellingen van systeemlogging wijzigen door het prioriteitsniveau en de opslaglocatie te wijzigen.
De standaardinstelling is dat alle berichten tot foutopsporingsniveau, dat wil zeggen alle systeemmeldingen, worden geregistreerd. Door het prioriteitsniveau in de logging-opdrachten te wijzigen, kunt u zelf bepalen hoeveel systeemberichten er worden geregistreerd.

 OPMERKING: Om de uitvoer van foutopsporing correct te loggen naar de syslog-server, moet u een trap inschakelen met het prioriteitsniveau 7 voor foutopsporing. Zelfs als het is ingesteld op gebufferd, wordt het nog steeds niet naar de syslog-server verzonden, tenzij een trap correct is ingeschakeld.

console(conf)# logging buffered <40960-524288> Stel grootte logging-buffer in (standaard = 40960)
console(conf)# logging history size <0-500> Hiermee kunt u de grootte van de logboekregistratie instellen.  (standaard = 1)
console(conf)# service timestamps log datetime localtime Stel de tijdstempel zo in dat deze overeenkomt met de tijd en tijdzone die op de switch zijn geconfigureerd. 
Opmerking: Na 9.14.1.5 firmware, is dit de standaardconfiguratie. Vóór 9.14.1.5 is de tijdstempel in UTC, tenzij geconfigureerd met deze opdracht.  

 

Logboeken controleren en weergeven

Om de huidige inhoud van de logging-buffer en de logging-instellingen voor het systeem weer te geven, gebruikt u de optie logging-opdracht in de EXEC-privilegemodus weergeven.
