  1. Browse to the Dell Drivers & Downloads website.
  2. Identify your Dell laptop.
    • Click Download & Install SupportAssist to auto-detect your Dell laptop.

    • Or, enter the Service Tag, Express Service Code, or the Serial number of the Dell laptop and click Search.

  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install drivers update for your Dell laptop.
  5. Browse to Dell USB Dock D3100 page.
  6. Click Download next to DisplayLink Dock Driver.
  7. Save the DisplayLink driver installation file to your computer.
  8. Using File Explorer (also known as Windows Explorer), browse to the location where the downloaded file was saved.
  9. Double-click the .exe driver installation files that you downloaded and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process.
