Symptoms

16G FC module in an MDS 9700 reloaded due to an F16_PLDA_RXBUF_MERR error on one F16 ASIC. This is an uncorrectable ECC error. The specific port range identified should be put into Hardware Failure state instead of the entire module being reloaded.
Applies to F16_PLDA_RXBUF_MERR errors on DS-X9448-768K9 and DS-X9334-K9 modules only
