Wat is intelligente tiering in AWS?     
  • S3 Intelligent-Tiering is een Amazon S3-storageklasse die is ontworpen voor gebruikers die de storagekosten automatisch willen optimaliseren wanneer datatoegangspatronen veranderen, zonder gevolgen voor de prestaties of operationele overhead.
  • Het is de eerste cloudobjectstorageklasse die automatische kostenbesparingen oplevert door data te verplaatsen tussen twee toegangslagen, frequente toegang en onregelmatige toegang, wanneer toegangspatronen veranderen, en is ideaal voor gegevens met onbekende of veranderende toegangspatronen.
