Post upgrade Admin UI missing navigation nodes or menu icons

Summary: After upgrade Admin UI is missing menu items or nodes, check the common properties if the url is missing from the file.

Symptoms

Navigation nodes or menu items missing in the Admin UI
Home
Discovery 
And Config had missing navigation nodes for Alerts, Solution Packs, Groups & tags, Update System, Settings..

Cause

The Frontend host had missing URL for the modules under opt\APG\Web-Applications

Resolution

On the Frontend host [winscp would be convenient to perform the below steps];
Go to \opt\APG\Web-Applications check the module/navigation node that's missing from the UI

Example:
\Centralized-Management\centralized-management\conf\common.properties
the file was missing the url as below:

 apg.centralized-management.url=

Add the URL: 
apg.centralized-management.url=/centralized-management/

And SAVE the file.

Other nodes that were missing the url in my case are below:
apg.alerting-frontend.url=

apg.compliance-frontend.url=
apg.device-discovery.url=

Supplied the URL as follows:


apg.alerting-frontend.url=/alerting-frontend/
apg.compliance-frontend.url=/compliance-frontend/
apg.device-discovery.url=/device-discovery/

 
Restart tomcat APG/bin/manage-module.(sh/cmd) service restart tomcat default
