Mål
FASTVP-funksjonen på en VMAX tillater automatisk kampanje for datablokkering og degradering til et annet lag eller et tynt utvalg i FASTVP-policyen. Ofte blir datablokker spredt ut til flere tynne utvalg på grunn av FASTVP/automatisk lagdeling.
Brukeren må finne ut hvordan datablokker distribueres på tvers av tynne utvalg for provisjonering, tilbakeladingsformål, feilsøking av ytelse osv.

Denne artikkelen forklarer hvordan du fastsetter tilordning av Lun-/TDEV-datablokk etter LUNID, lagringsgruppe eller alle LUNS/TDEVs.

løsning

Frakoblet prosedyre:

  1. Installer Solution Enabler 8.0.x og nyere på en stasjonær eller bærbar PC.

  2. Få en kopi av filen symapi_db.bin.

  3. Kopier symapi_db.bin-filen til mappen "~/SYMAPI/db" på skrivebordet.

  4. Åpne ledeteksten.

  5. Syntaks:

    By Lun-ID:
     > symcfg -sid ### -offline list -tdev -dev  -bound  -detail -gb
By Storage Group:
     > symcfg -sid ### -offline list -tdev -bound -detail -sg 
All Devices on the VMAX:
     > symcfg -sid ### -offline  list -tdev  -bound  -detail -gb

     


Online-prosedyre:

  1. RDP eller logg på Storage Managemen Host.

  2. Åpne ledeteksten som administrator

  3. Syntaks:

    By Lun-ID:
   > symcfg -sid ### list -tdev -dev  -bound  -detail -gb
Lun-ID

By Storage Group:
   > symcfg -sid ### list -tdev -bound -detail -sg 
Lagringsgruppe
All TDEV / Devices on the VMAX:
     > symcfg -sid ### list -tdev  -bound  -detail -gb
