Symptoms
Replication stops and in RecoverPoint alerts, you may see the error:
ERROR: data link is down for RPA 2 between clusters RP_Cluster_PROD and RP_Cluster_DRCLI entries
get_system_status -n WANs problems: [RP_Cluster_PROD - RP_Cluster_DR]: Items: ERROR: data link is down for RPA 1 between clusters RP_Cluster_PROD and RP_Cluster_DR, ERROR: data link is down for RPA 2 between clusters RP_Cluster_PROD and RP_Cluster_DR
Replication logs (/home/kos/replication/result.log.xx)

Cause
The traffic between the affected IPs is blocked at firewall level.
Resolution
Workaround:
Have the Network team allow TCP-UDP traffic for port 5040 between RecoverPoint Appliances (RPA) at both sites. A firewall rule must be created to allow this.
