VxRail: Certificate Manager Tool Does Not Support vCenter HA Systems

Symptoms

Attempting to renew certificates as per knowledge article 82108, Dell VxRail: Unable to log in to vCenter due to expired certificates 
  • Using option 8, fails with error: Certificate Manager tool does not support vCenter HA systems 
  • Disabled HA but issue persists
Please provide valid SSO and VC privileged user credential to perform certificate operations.

Certificate Manager tool do not support vCenter HA systems

Cause

The certificate manager tries to find folder /var/tmp/vmware but that folder does not exist.

Resolution

  1. Run the below command:
mkdir /var/tmp/vmware
  1. Run certificate-manager again.
