Symptoms

Systemen waarin dit probleem optreedt: 

  • DD6400

Netwerkkaart (NIC) kan niet worden geconfigureerd of geopend.
Het systeem genereert een waarschuwing (ENVIRONMENT-00049) met de melding 'an invalid hardware configuration':

Cause

Aanvullende en/of optionele kaarten zijn gekocht voor andere Dell producten en per ongeluk in de DD6400 geïnstalleerd.
De lijst met ondersteunde NIC's vindt u hieronder.

OPMERKING: QLogic 41164 (PN: 0HY9T) wordt NIET ondersteund.


NIC Onderdeelnummers voor slot 5,7,8 zijn: 

  • DDJKY of PGRFV: "CRD,NTWK,4X10G,SFP+, INTEL"
  • HN7J7: "CRD,NTWK,DP,INTEL,25G,SFP"
  • K5V44: "CRD,NTWK,10G BASE-T,QP,INTEL"

Resolution

Schakel de DD-eenheid uit en verwijder de niet-ondersteunde netwerkkaart(en).
Vervang ze door ondersteunde NIC's.
