Symptoms
Creating NMM SQL Client with New Client Wizard in NMC fails due to invalid credentials. The username is correct, and the password is correct and the user has required permissions.
Cause
The remote user for the SQL client had an unsupported special character in the domain user password.
The special character did not belong to the current system locale which was set to us-en; English.

Resolution
The user changed the password removing the special character and all Client Wizard worked for new SQL clients.
