Symptoms
When the system has the Hard Drive password and RAID on mode, the hard drive boot option disappears when resuming from hibernate mode (S4) or shutdown mode (S5) and when trying to boot from the F12 menu on the Precision 7875 tower.
Cause
BIOS coding issue, storage communication time-out
Resolution
Updating the BIOS to version 01.02.42 or later on the computer resolves the issue. To download and install the BIOS, reference BIOS Update Guide.
