XPS 13 9350 Future Support for Microsoft Copilot+ PC Experience

Neural Processing Unit (NPU) acceleration features that are required for the Microsoft Copilot+ PC experience are encountering a delay with a Windows 11 24H2 update. Performance is not enhanced for the Microsoft Copilot+ PC experience. This is seen on an XPS 13 9350 with an Intel Core Ultra series 2 processor and Windows 11 24H2. The current version of the Windows 11 operating system shipped with the new XPS computers does not support NPU acceleration for Intel 256 V and 258 V processors.

Microsoft has announced that an operating system update will be available later this year (2024). This update enables the Microsoft Copilot+ PC experience for computers using Intel 256 V and 258 V processors.

Ensure that your computer is set to automatically receive updates:

1. Go to Settings, Update & Security, and then Windows Update.
2. Check for updates and enable automatic updates if the setting is not already enabled.
