Cause
Der DEV_F16_CMN Fehler auf einem Switch der Cisco MDS 9000 Serie weist in der Regel auf ein Hardwareproblem im Zusammenhang mit dem F16-ASIC hin. Dieser Fehler führt häufig dazu, dass das Modul aufgrund eines nicht behebbaren Multi-Bit-ECC-Fehlers (Error-Correcting Code) neu gestartet wird.
Resolution
Die einzige Möglichkeit, eine Schnittstelle von hw_Failure wiederherzustellen, besteht darin, das Modul durch Unterbrechung neu zu laden.
