PowerProtect: wdrożenie pakietu instalacyjnego vSphere kończy się niepowodzeniem z kodem błędu ABV0032

Podczas wdrażania lub aktualizowania pakietu instalacyjnego PowerProtect Data Manager vSphere dla modułu przenoszenia danych Transparent Snapshot Data Mover (TSDM) zadania konfiguracyjne kończą się niepowodzeniem z komunikatami o błędach podobnymi do następujących: 

ABV0032: VM Direct Engine is unable to configure protection for the host "ESXi Host" on vCenter "VCenterName"

W sekcji szczegółów błędu jest zgłaszany komunikat o błędzie podobny do poniższego:

Unable to install vSphere Installation Bundle on host "ESXi Host". vCenter task is failed with /usr/sbin/esxupdate returned with exit status: 15

Na serwerze vCenter Server wymagane jest skanowanie pamięci masowej. Bez tego komunikaty o błędach podobne do poniższych są zgłaszane w esxupdate plik dziennika na hoście Broadcom ESXi:
