Symptoms

在極少數情況下，使用 AMD Milan CPU （7xx3） 的 Hypervisor 叢集中的 PowerEdge 伺服器可能會在整個叢集中隨機且間歇地顯示 MCE。

受影響的 PowerEdge 伺服器包括：

  • R7525
  • R6525
  • R7515
  • R6515

Cause

某些 CPU 指示不會更新。

Resolution

要解決此問題，需要執行兩個步驟：

  1. BIOS 更新
    • 升級至 BIOS 2.19.0
  2. 更新後，BIOS 中的設定會變更。
    1. 進入 F2 BIOS。
    2. 系統 BIOS 設定 >處理器設定> 啟用設定 AMD IC 組態 停用 IT 略過
    3. 儲存 變更並重新開機。

發生此 BIOS 設定變更的伺服器，在一般虛擬化環境中可能會顯示約 0.5% 至 1% 的輕微效能下降。
