Symptoms

Den trådløse Wi-Fi 7-standarden ble utgitt i 2024 og fungerer på tvers av tre trådløse bånd (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz og 6 GHz) for å utnytte spektrumressursene fullt ut. Wi-Fi 7 har som mål å levere forbløffende hastigheter med større effektivitet.

Fra mars 2025 har ikke Wi-Fi 7 innebygd støtte for forhåndsinstallerte Linux-datamaskiner (Ubuntu 24.04, Red Hat 9.4 og så videre). Datamaskiner som leveres med trådløse moduler som støtter Wi-Fi 7 (eksempel: Intel BE200-serien), har ikke driverstøtte for Wi-Fi 7-funksjonene (320 MHz bred kanalbåndbredde, 4096-QAM, Multi-link drift (MLO) og så videre).
