People can hear the background noise at your location over a Zoom call
While on a Zoom conference call, other participants can hear any running audio or video applications on your Dell 14 Premium DA14250 laptop.
Cause
The 'Suppress Background Noise' setting must be configured correctly in the Zoom conference application.
Resolution
Note: You must have administrator rights on your laptop to make any operating system changes or update any software.
The zoom application settings include configuration setting for the noise suppression levels in a conference call:

Open the Zoom application.

Open the Zoom settings page.

Go to the Audio settings page.

Use the radio buttons under the Suppress background noise section.

Close out of the settings page and confirm that the settings have changed to your set preference.
