Symptoms

Precision 7875 tårn kan ikke starte opp til en PXE-server og fortsette å starte opp til operativsystemet (OS). Dette skjer når du angir følgende BIOS-innstillinger:

  • Wake-on-LAN (WOL) er angitt som "LAN med PXE-oppstart"
  • Dyp hvilemodus er satt til "Deaktivert" med Realtek 1G NIC-kortet for å vekkes fra S5-hvilemodus (avsluttet)

Cause

Precision 7875 tårn finner ikke status for PCIe endepunkt for LAN-enhet Power Management Event (PME). Dette fører til at datamaskinen ikke kan starte opp i PXE når WOL er angitt.

Du kan løse dette problemet ved å endre følgende innstillinger manuelt i BIOS:

  • Sett "Dyp hvilemodus" til "Aktiver S4 / S5" (standard)
  • Sett "Boot Sequence" til "Onboard Realtek 1G LOM" eller "NIC X710 DA2"-kort for PXE-oppstart.
