Symptoms

Systém Windows 10 neposkytuje nativní podporu funkcí rozhraní Thunderbolt 5. V důsledku toho na níže uvedených dotčených platformách bude port Thunderbolt 5 fungovat v režimu MFDP (Multifunction DisplayPort). V tomto režimu port podporuje dvě linky pro výstup videa DisplayPort a přenos dat přes rozhraní USB 3.0.

Přestože je port notebooku označen jako Thunderbolt 5, plná funkčnost Thunderbolt 5 vyžaduje operační systém s patřičnou podporou.

Cause

Systém Windows 10 nepodporuje funkce TBT5, což způsobí, že se počítač vrátí k používání MFDP.

Resolution

Upgrade počítače na systém Windows 11 verze 23H2 nebo novější obnoví plnou funkčnost rozhraní Thunderbolt 5.
