Symptoms

Windows 10 biedt geen native ondersteuning voor Thunderbolt 5-functies. Als gevolg hiervan werkt de Thunderbolt 5-poort op de hieronder vermelde getroffen platforms in multifunctionele DisplayPort-modus (MFDP). In deze modus ondersteunt de poort twee banen voor DisplayPort-video-uitvoer en USB 3.0-gegevensoverdracht.

Hoewel de laptoppoort wordt aangeduid als Thunderbolt 5, is voor volledige Thunderbolt 5-functionaliteit een besturingssysteem met de juiste ondersteuning vereist.

Cause

Windows 10 biedt geen ondersteuning voor TBT5-functies, waardoor de computer terugkeert naar MFDP.

Resolution

Als u de computer bijwerkt naar Windows 11 versie 23H2 of hoger, wordt de volledige Thunderbolt 5-functionaliteit hersteld.
