To resolve this issue, perform the following steps:

  1. Go to My Computer or This PC.
  2. Select the secondary drive (for example, D:).
  3. Right-click and choose Properties.
  4. Select the Hardware tab (ensure that the secondary drive is selected).
  5. Go to Properties.
  6. Then Details
  7. Find the Device instance path.
  8. Right-click the Device instance path and choose Properties Copy (should be something like SCSI\DISK&VEN_SAMSUNG&PROD_SSD_850_PRO_1TB\4&2953CA85&0&010000
  9. In the Registry, create a string value under [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\CmgPCS\Parameters\DeviceWhiteList] named "1."
  10. Paste the Device Instance Path in the value field of string value 1.
  11. Then change the value of the Count from 1 to 2.
  12. Reboot the computer.

In the registry under the DevicesWhiteList folder, there should already be a "0" = then scsi\diskname of the normal drive (for example, Drive C:) in registry path above.
