There was an OpenSSL vulnerability CVE-2020-1971 across all supported Avamar versions.
Resolution
There are two options to resolve this issue.
- Upgrade the Avamar Server to.
- 19.7.100-82 or later
- The fix is incorporated in Avamar 19.7 and later software releases
- Apply the following hotfix (HF) for Avamar server 19.4
- Avamar client version 19.4.100-116 HF 328994
