Symptoms

Back-ups op NDMP-niveau nul nemen veel tijd in beslag.

Avamar dwingt een nieuwe back-up op NDMP-niveau nul af, maar een eerdere back-up is al voltooid voor het bestandssysteem.

Infoberichten voor het uitvoeren van een volledige back-up:

Cause

De Avndmp-plug-in roept avtar aan om te controleren of er een eerdere back-up is gemaakt die als basis voor incrementele back-ups kan worden gebruikt.
Avtar controleert alleen de laatste 30 labels. Als de vorige back-up niet is gevonden binnen de vorige 30 labels op clientniveau, dwingt avndmp een nieuwe volledige back-up af.

Resolution

De incrementele zoeklimiet kan worden verhoogd met behulp van het  
avndmp flag limit-incremental-search

Maak een avndmp.cmd-bestand onder de clientmap op het versnellerknooppunt:
  
/usr/local/avamar/var/<client_name>

Voeg de volgende vlag toe aan het avndmp.cmd bestand:
  
--limit-incremental-search=n

Waarbij n het aantal eerdere back-ups is dat moet worden doorzocht. De standaardwaarde is 30.
