NetWorker: mminfo -o reports segmentation fault, core dumped

Symptoms

  • NetWorker server reports "Segmentation fault (core dumped) when running mminfo -ot command:
[root@nwserver]# mminfo -ot
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
  • No core dump is produced under /nsr/cores.
  • There are some instances where no error is reported; for example, when using mminfo -avot
  • The error appears intermittently when using -o in various mminfo commands.

Cause

Code defect.

Impacted:

  • 19.9.x and prior
  • 19.10.0.4 and prior
  • 19.11.0.0

Resolution

This issue is addressed in the following NetWorker releases:

  • 19.10.0.5
  • 19.11.0.1
