Avamar : AUI Dashboard Displays Incorrect Data Domain Capacity

Symptoms

The Data Domain capacity shows 20613.9 GiB for post-comp size:

Access the Avamar User Interface (AUI) and the dashboard shows the Data Domain capacity as 20,614 GB.

There is a difference between gibibyte (GiB) and gigabyte (GB). Hence, the correct value in the AUI dashboard must be 22,134 GB.

This discrepancy in value can mislead what capacity exists in the Data Domain.

Cause

Resolution

This issue only appears in Avamar AUI. The Avamar Administrator console dashboard shows the value in GiB.
