RecoverPoint: How to get Serial Numbers from RPAs
Summary: How to find the Serial Numbers (SNs) from RecoverPoint Appliances (RPAs).
Instructions
To determine the SN of an RPA, log in to the Command-Line Interface (CLI) with user admin and run the get_rpa_states command:
When prompted, choose the cluster you want, or press enter to get the information for all RPAs at both clusters. The output provides various information for each RPA on the chosen cluster as per the example below. The hardware serial ID provides the appliance SN.
