Symptoms

  • NetWorker Web 使用者介面 （NWUI） 套件已安裝在 Windows 平台上。
  • 之前未安裝 NWUI，這是新的安裝。
  • NWUI 套件無法安裝;出現錯誤，指出 Database configuration failed。 
  • 如果未選取 NWUI 選項，NetWorker 用戶端、儲存節點及/或伺服器套裝安裝即會成功完成。

Cause

伺服器上未安裝 Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime 包。NWUI 使用的 Postgres 資料庫需要 Visual Studio Runtime。在安裝組態選項期間，會出現下列警告：

NWUI 版本 19.6 及更新版本隨附 Postgres 版本 12。Postgres 12依賴於Microsoft Visual Studio 2015/2015-2019 Runtime。在安裝 NWUI 之前，請確保 Microsoft Visual Studio Runtime 可供使用，否則 DB 組態將會失敗

此警告不會阻止安裝繼續;但是，如果不滿足依賴項，安裝將失敗。

檢查特定版本的 NetWorker 安裝指南 

「使用 NetWorker 伺服器軟體安裝 NetWorker Management Web UI」一節包含 NWUI 所需的相依性。這些依賴項包括Visual Studio Runtime。特定於版本的安裝指南詳細介紹了需要哪些運行時版本。


注意：“控制面板\程式\程式和功能”顯示是否安裝了所需的Visual Studio 運行時包。

Additional Information

NetWorker 管理主控台 （NMC） 具有相同的相依性;但是，如果伺服器是從 9.x 升級，則 postgres 9.2.x 資料庫將會保留。NMC 和 NWUI 套件的新安裝使用較新版本的 postgres，這需要 Visual Studio Runtime。
