  1. Gå til %temp%.

  3. Søg efter i logfilen CbELAM.sys. 
    CopyDriver: ERROR: copy CbELAM.sys failed: 3
InstallFileDriver: ERROR: copy CbELAM.sys failed
install: InstallAll: returning error

    Dette skyldes, fordi CBeLAM.sys blev ikke fjernet korrekt under afinstallationen af VMware Carbon Black Cloud-sensoren.

Resolution

Fra en administratorkommandoprompt skal du køre følgende, før du forsøger at geninstallere. Genstart er ikke påkrævet.

MKDIR C:\Windows\ELAMBKUP
DEL /F C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CbELAM.sys
