Cause

Så här bekräftar du problemet:

  1. Gå till %temp%.
    Obs! Den här platsen kan variera om den ändras under installationen.
  2. Dubbelklicka confer-temp.log.
  3. Sök efter i loggen CbELAM.sys. 
    CopyDriver: ERROR: copy CbELAM.sys failed: 3
InstallFileDriver: ERROR: copy CbELAM.sys failed
install: InstallAll: returning error

    Detta beror på att CBeLAM.sys togs inte bort på rätt sätt under avinstallationen av VMware Carbon Black Cloud-sensorn.

Resolution

Från en kommandotolk kör du följande innan du försöker installera om. Ingen omstart krävs.

MKDIR C:\Windows\ELAMBKUP
DEL /F C:\Windows\System32\drivers\CbELAM.sys
