Cause
These events occur when PowerPath is not able to recognize the APP FINGERPRINT enabled on the array end. It then reports the information event:
PowerPath is looking for the VMAX3 Symmetrix Hypermax code on which the APP FINGERPRINT feature is installed.
APP FINGERPRINT is a feature that is developed on Symmetrix VMAX arrays. The VMAX development team did not make this feature globally available due to some issues with qualification. The GA date for the Hypermax operating system was then delayed due to the need for additional testing. This may cause PowerPath to report an information event stating that the array which has APP FINGERPRINT feature is not connected.

Resolution
You can ignore these events, as they do not cause any issues to the environment.
