Symptoms

  • 알림 메시지: 
    Two or more disks are failed and the RAID protection is in critical state for over a considerable period of time. 
If an additional disk fails, there might be permanent loss of data. The system will shut down.
  • 장애가 발생한 디스크 2개로 인해 성능이 저하된 RAID6 디스크 그룹
  • 재구성에 사용할 수 있는 스페어 디스크가 없습니다.
  • RAID 재구성이 중단되거나 진행되지 않음
  • 데이터 무결성을 보호하기 위해 시스템이 종료를 시작함

Cause

DDOS(Data Domain Operating System)는 디스크 상태와 RAID 상태를 지속적으로 모니터링합니다. 두 개 이상의 디스크에 장애가 발생한 경우:

  • 재구성에 사용할 수 있는 스페어 디스크가 없는 경우
  • RAID 재구성이 시간이 지남에 따라 진행되지 않음

그런 다음 DDOS는 추가 성능 저하 및 잠재적인 데이터 손실을 방지하기 위해 시스템 종료를 트리거합니다.

Resolution

이 조건을 방지하려면 다음을 수행합니다.

  • 장애가 발생한 디스크를 즉시 교체하십시오. 교체된 디스크는 향후 재구성을 위해 사용 가능한 스페어가 됩니다.
  • 장애가 발생한 디스크가 시스템에 누적되지 않도록 합니다.
