Symptoms

1.4TB 데이터베이스용 PowerProtect Data Manager SQL TLR(Table Level Restore)에 8시간 이상 소요

테이블 복원 프로세스는 데이터베이스 파일을 읽고 Data Domain에서 마운트된 동안 ItemPoint를 사용하여 데이터베이스를 재구성합니다.

반면, 전체 데이터베이스 복원에는 성능 차이의 원인이 되는 데이터 마이닝 작업이 포함되지 않습니다.

 

Cause

"직접 IO"라는 NWFS 성능 기능을 활성화하면 성능이 향상됩니다.

전체 백업에서 테이블 레벨 복원에 사용할 수 있습니다.

트랜잭션 로그 백업의 테이블 레벨 복원에서 IttemPoint가 백업 파일을 열지 못합니다.
오류 출력

"NWFS 직접 IO" 사용 ItemPoint가 전체 및 모든 트랜잭션 로그 백업에서 모든 파일을 로드할 수 없습니다.

참고: "NWFS direct IO"를 사용하여 TLOG로 TLR을 수행할 때 19.22로 업그레이드해야 합니다.

 

Resolution

활성화 방법:

  1. Registry Editor를 엽니다.
  2. "SOFTWARE\EMC\DDBMSS\NWFS" 경로를 열거나 없는 경우 생성합니다.
  3. 레지스트리 STRING 값 "EnableDirectIO"를 만들고 "TRUE"로 설정합니다.

설정이 작동하는지 확인하려면 nwfs.raw 로그에서 다음 메시지를 찾습니다.
