提醒：VMware 备份应用装置 （VBA） 不再用于 VMware 保护。NetWorker VMware Protection （NVP） vProxy 现在用于 VMware 保护。从 NetWorker 19.7.x 开始，不再可以使用 vProxy 应用装置恢复基于 VBA 的虚拟机备份。
按照以下说明重置 VBA 的操作系统密码：
- 确保 VBA 虚拟机已关闭。
- 打开控制台，并在加载引导加载程序后立即准备好在 VBA 空白控制台上按“Esc”键。
- 从 vCenter 启动 VBA 设备。
- 单击控制台，并在加载引导加载程序后立即按“Esc”键。如果您看到警告消息，请再次点击“Esc”。
- 在 VBA 控制台底部的 引导选项 前面键入 init=/bin/sh （请参见图 1）
- 单击 Return 以启动引导过程。
- 引导完成后，VBA 将以单个用户模式记录。
- 输入命令 passwd admin 或 passwd root 以分别重置管理员或 root 密码（请参见图 2）
- 确认密码后，键入 reboot 并按 Return 以正常重新启动 VBA。
