Symptoms
The Avamar MCS service is down and cannot be restarted.
Reviewing the contents of the Avamar MCS data directory shows that corruption of the pgstat.stat file:
admin@utilitynode:/usr/local/avamar/var/mc/server_data/postgres/data/global/>: ls -l ls: cannot access pgstat.stat: No such file or directory total 0 ?????????? ? ? ? ? ? pgstat.stat
The file is corrupted and it is not possible to modify / repair or replace it.
