Symptoms

Error Message: 
Merge Track Tables operation is required before the RDF links can be resumed

Cause

In this instance, the Consistency Group (CG) was in a mixed state with Synchronized, SyncInProg, and Suspended.

Resolution

Place the devices that are not SyncInProg or Synchronized (in this instance, suspended), in a device file (R1 R2)

symrdf -sid xxx -f <file> -rdfg est -star
